"myself" with pains in my back ear pain headache(a weird one;not like the
day thereafter headache)
and even more acid. The acid level is under control with Losec ,but the
erarpain and all that wont let go simply...
Answer:
I'm having a similar experience with GERD. But instead of ear pain, I've been
having unusual noises in one ear, and persistent dizziness. It's been over a
year now, and lots of doctors, but no answers yet.
Acid reflux can cause problems in the middle ear via the ear/throat connection,
the Eustachian tube. In the past I was having periods of dizziness to the point
I was having trouble walking, that the doctors could not figure out. My ENT
finally said to try Chlor-Trimeton (Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4 mg) This is an
over the counter allergy medication (Antihistamine) here in the States. This
quickly resolved the problem. I now take one tablet when I start having the
same full feeling in the middle ear accompanied by a little dizziness and the
problem goes away. It might be worth asking your doctor about it.
Heartburn and Gastro Esophageal Reflux web page: http://www.heartburn-help.com I had my wisdom teeth out, and I think the acid reflux is getting into the
holes in the jawbone- so I have earpain, pain in my neck, and in all my
sinuses. I know the acid reflux is causing pain in my whole body, in my neck,
and in my face- because when I took prilosec- the pain began to dissappear, but I think i was malnourished, because the acid had already done so much damage.
As time goes on, the acid becomes more invasive in my body, and the damage
doubles every night. I don't know what to do..
