Question: Travelling to Europe in September/October. Looked quickly at
Avis[1] and Europcar[2] sites to get a feel for hiring cars to drive
from Paris->Dijon->Brig->Venice. Car will be picked up in Paris
and dropped off in Venice.
Avis didn't even allow us to do it.
Europcar seemed to have trouble with the car types we were
choosing.
Anyone recommend a car hire solution to achieve the above?
Good, bad or otherwise experiences?
Train is not an option. My girlfriend gets motion-sickness and
we need to be able to stop when needed. She copes better if she
drives occassionally.
Answer: If it's just the train from Paris to Venice, could she just take
motion sickness medication for the once off trip? IME it knocks you
out cold for the journey, but seriously doing that trip by car will be
much more effort than by train.
