Question:
Has anyone had any experience with hallucinating on motion sickness
tablets. I've heard a few stories from people here in OZ about tripping
on Avil car sickness tablets. What is the usual sort of dose? Is it
similar to LSD or morning glory? A lot of people have had bad experiences
on it (bad trips, scary trips, depression, etc.) Any reports would be
most appreciated.
Answer:
I did whatever the largest selling ones are when I was in the Navy in
'70'. I thought Robitussin (sp?) 8oz cough syrup was better. All I
remember was wandering around the Memphis Zoo (I was at Millington NAS),
and having an elephant spit on me (and about 5 other people). I puked
pretty good! I wouldn't recommend them 1) not a good trip and 2) I
have no idea what medical damage they do (like to the liver).
Actually I've got a very funny story about hallucinating on motion
sickness pills (funny now that is). I was sixteen and had gotten
drunk for the first time, the night before my drivers test (the in car
one). I woke up the next morning covered in puke. I was worried that
I would start puking during my drivers test so I took a hand full of
motion sickness pills hoping they would help. Well I didn't puke
during my test (don't know if it was the pills or not) and I did pass
but the tester did have one complaint, I had taken too long to make a
right hand turn at a stop sign. Little did he know that it was
because I was distracted by some pretty vivid hallucinations and they
were much more interesting than the road. The guy honking his horn
behind me snapped me out of it and I managed to keep it somewhat under
control, I guess , because I passed the test, although I don't remember many
details about the driving part, just the hallucinations.
All you politically correct people - PISS OFF - I didn't know what
effect the pills would have so don't bother ragging on me for
endangering other peoples lives by driving while impaired.
